Don’t sell used books online until you’ve read this…
We are willing to bet that the vast majority of people reading this have at least one book that they no longer want or need (and probably more than one!)… Unwanted Books that we get given for Christmas, academic textbooks from long-finished university courses, or books that we’ve read but just don’t feel the need to hang on to forever! Luckily, in the modern age you can shift these books online and make some extra cash in the process. But before you decide which online book selling service to go with, there are some vital questions you should ask to ensure that you’re going to have the best experience possible.
Here at WeBuyBooks, we’d hate for you to be disappointed, so have a read through of our top five pre-selling questions…
When will I find out how much my used books will fetch?
When selling on auction websites, you are left in the dark about how much your used books are worth, but you can eliminate this uncertainty with our instant valuations here at WeBuyBooks. We give you a valuation in moments, which you can then reject or accept… totally upfront and straightforward from the get-go!
What about books without ISBNs?
Here at WeBuyBooks, we really do love to buy used books, so even if your book doesn’t have an ISBN, we may still buy it from you – unlike other online book buyers
How do I send my books to the buyer?
If you have a variety of used books to sell, it’s unlikely that the same person will want to buy them all when selling privately. This could mean that you’ll have to calculate several different postage costs and perhaps have to make numerous trips to the post office too! At WeBuyBooks, we remove this hassle by providing prepaid postage labels, and if you have a large number of books to sell, we can arrange for myHermes couriers to collect your books, which they will do even on a Saturday!
How long will it take to get my cash?
One of the major drawbacks of selling on auction sites is that the independent buyer may let you down. We always aim to pay you the very next day after we have received your books… the whole process, from sending your books to WeBuyBooks HQ, to your money arriving in the bank, could take a little as three working days.
Is the buyer/service trustworthy?
The trustworthiness and dependability of the online book service you choose is of paramount importance if you want to have a good selling experience. At WeBuyBooks, we have an excellent Trustpilot TrustScore of 8.9/10, which reflects how easy our selling process is, and how fantastic our customer service is too!
The bottom line is that if you’re looking for an effective, convenient and aboveboard bookselling service, look no further than WeBuyBooks! We are confident that you’ll find our process straightforward and stress-free. Don’t get caught out by complicated auction sites or other online selling tools – choose WeBuyBooks and choose peace of mind!
