WeBuyBooks are donating Free Books to Primary Schools
The WeBuyBooks Little Readers programme is helping Primary Schools across the UK access free books to support reading, literacy and a lifelong love of books.
At WeBuyBooks, we believe every child should have access to great books. That's why we have set aside thousands of quality pre-loved children's books and are donating free book bundles to eligible organisations through our Little Readers programme.

Why Reading Matters in Primary Schools
Reading plays a vital role in a child's development and wellbeing. It helps to:
- Develop language and communication skills
- Improve concentration and focus
- Spark childrenâs imaginations
- Build confidence and empathy
- Support learning across all subjects
- Inspire a love of reading and lifelong learning
Whether you're looking to refresh your continuous provision, expand a school library, create a reading corner, encourage parent reading with Going-Home bags or provide more books for young patients, the Little Readers programme can help.
How the Programme Works
Primary schools can apply to receive a free box of children's books through the Little Readers Programme. To help us continue offering free books for schools, participating organisations are asked to acknowledge their donation by adding a link to the WeBuyBooks website on their school website. Examples include:
"Thank you to WeBuyBooks for donating books to our school library." "Our reading area has been supported by the WeBuyBooks Little Readers Programme." "Sponsored by WeBuyBooks Little Readers Programme." "We are grateful to WeBuyBooks for helping us promote reading for pleasure."
These acknowledgements help raise awareness of the programme and enable us to support even more schools in future.
