A Reassuring Note From We Buy Books
The team at We Buy Books hope you’re well in these unpredictable times. The safety of our community is the main priority, and we’ll be following all of the government and NHS guidelines for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) protection.
Public Health England (PHE) has advised that ‘people sending and receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus’.
With those guidelines in mind, we’ll continue accepting your trades as usual. The likelihood of catching or spreading coronavirus from a parcel is non-existent, and postal services are continuing to operate as normal.
Arranging a courier collection (Added 08/04/2020)
In line with government guidance, we are limiting contact between our customers and our couriers for deliveries and collections. If you’ve arranged a courier collection, please specify a safe place for collection, and leave your parcel in the designated safe place for our courier to collect. If you don’t specify a safe place, or a safe place isn’t available, our courier will knock on your door, and step back 2 steps to allow you to place the parcel on your doorstep. After you’ve done so, please step back 2 steps or close the door to ensure a contact-free collection.
There may be some disruption to regular service, but you’ll still receive payments from us. If you do have any questions contact our customer support team and we’ll be happy to advise you.
If there is any change to the above circumstances, we’ll be in touch. We’re monitoring the situation and ensuring any decisions we make are in your best interests.
In the meantime, if you need to make some extra cash, visit our website or download our barcode scanning app to see how much you could get for your old books.
Thank you, and stay safe!
