But be warned, snacks are essential, no one can sit through this film without craving some chocolate.

The 1997 film The Borrowers is loosely based on author Mary Norton’s children’s novel of the same name. The borrowers are tiny little people of around four inches in height and live in the walls and under the houses’ floorboards. This particular story follows the adventure of one such family who strives to rescue their home from being knocked down to make way for new luxury apartments. This family favourite is a great choice for a cosy evening in.
